 Frequently Asked Questions

  • It usually takes 3 lessons to learn the Basics behind playing the handpan and you can actually start playing and improvising by yourself around the 3rd lesson. Usually on the fifth we get into learning songs, melodies and patterns to expand your play and explore your way through.

"It's just easy and feels natural" is what I often hear from my students and first-timers. While learning a new instrument can be a bit challenging at first, the handpan is surprisingly easier and quicker to pick up compared to instruments like the guitar, piano, violin, flute, and others. It's an amazing choice if you're starting your musical journey from scratch. It's all about taking that first step and exploring the limits of your mind.

  • In my lessons, it's not just about learning to play the handpan. It's about bringing your focus into the music, into the moment and into the present. I want to show you how to play while being fully present with yourself and your surroundings. We'll cover the basics, like breathing while playing and staying focused, and exploring your way around the handpan. Once you've got the hang of that, we'll dive into improvisation using your intuition. I'll also guide you on how to get into a state of musical flow where time and space dissolve, so you can really enjoy every moment when you're playing. It's not just about the handpan; it's about discovering yourself through the handpan.

  • All the information is provided in each service page. if you have any further questions please reach out to me.

  • Sure you can book either online lessons or live lessons if you are located in the netherlands. As i am currently staying in the netherlands.

  • You don't have to own a handpan to dive into this experience. Typically, I include a handpan in each lesson, and if you want, there's an option to keep it or rent it. We've got some fantastic deals that make it more accessible. But remember, the lessons aren't just about playing the handpan; they're also about understanding how your mind and body work. So, even if you're still deciding on a handpan, you can still enjoy the lessons.
